The NHTSA gives the Mirage hatchback a four-star (out of five) overall safety rating, comprised of four-star scores in frontal crash, side crash, and rollover tests. The Mirage sedan has not been evaluated by the NHTSA. All Mirage models are equipped with seven airbags, but active-safety or driver-assist features like blind-spot monitors, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, or adaptive cruise control are not available. Front and rear parking sensors are optional.
